my big brother

My big brother is 9. He is big. And I am little. We like to ride a big bike. I can ride my little bike. We ride our bikes at home. I play games with my big brother. I run away. And my brother runs after me. My big brother plays up on the fort with me. We play with our cars and our trucks inside.

My big lets me play with his big red trucks. At the park. I run to see my big brother. He comes to see me. my big brother looks after me.

In the holidays we went to Sylvia park. In Sylvia park we looked at the shops. In Sylvia park we looked at some samsung galaxy phones and ipads.

We sat on the chair and waited for dad to finish looking around. We went to the car. We went parksave to buy some chip and go home.

My Little Sister

I read a book called ‘My little sister.’ This book is  about two little girls playing and looking after each other. They like to play in the sandpit and they like to play on the swing. They play in their playhouse and they read books then they go to sleep. They always look after each other. They like to do everything together and they never fight. They sleep with their dolls.  When I finished reading I wrote sentences about some pictures from the book.  I love reading this book.

Day and night

Why do we have day and night?

We have and night because  of how the earth spins on its axis. The earth takes a whole day, 24 hours to make a complete turn. When one side of the earth faces the sun this part has day the other half of the earth facing away from the sun have night.

The sun is the source of light for day. The sun does not move it seems to move across the sky starting in the east in the morning moving toward the south at noon and then toward the west as the day ends. It is the earth turning that makes it seem as though the sun is moving.
